Reading a route: best route, other routes and route details

How to read the route panel: what 'N routes found' counts, why a provider is missing, what the percentage next to other routes means, and what to look at in route details before signing.

N routes found · M/K providers

N is the number of executable routes returned. K is the number of providers asked, which depends on the pair: a provider that does not cover one of the two networks is not asked and not counted. M is how many of those answered with a route. A provider asked but missing either timed out or has no liquidity for this pair at this size; the panel says which.

Best route

Highest final amount after fees, with a tie-break on time when two are within 0.01%. Switching the preference to Fastest re-sorts by estimated time instead. The best route is pre-selected; selecting another one changes what the swap button executes.

Other routes

Each shows its final amount and the percentage difference against the best. A route 0.24% behind on a $500 transfer is $1.20; on $50,000 it is $120. Whether that matters relative to a time difference is your call, which is why both are shown.

Route details

Minimum received: the floor written into the transaction. Steps: the venues the route passes through, such as a bridge plus a DEX, or a single intent via a hub. Gas token: what you pay gas in. Provider fee and aggregator fee: separate lines. Freshness: quotes refresh every 60 seconds and are re-checked before execution; a stale quote asks you to refresh rather than executing on an old number.
