Swap BTC to USDC
1 BTC = 83,803.3552 USDC
One transaction, one wallet, no account. Routes are ranked by the amount that arrives, not by the headline rate.
Why swap BTC to USDC?
Bitcoin does not speak to other chains on its own. To turn BTC into USDC, something has to bridge the gap — historically that meant a custodian, a wrapped token, or a centralized exchange account.
The usual reason to make this move is to stop being exposed to BTC's price without leaving self-custody. Selling into USDC on an exchange means handing over your coins and your identity; doing it as an intent means you sign once and keep control.

Every row is a live quote, requested server-side at render. Amounts are what reaches your wallet, before network gas. How we price
Intent liquidity is finite. Measured against the live API, BTC routes fill reliably up to roughly 0.25 BTC and return no route above that. Split larger amounts or use a venue with a deeper book.
We show it rather than hide it: when a size stops being well served here, the comparison puts another route first.
How to swap it
- 01Check the quote first
The rate and the amount you receive are shown before anything else. No wallet, no signature, no email — just the number.
- 02Open the app and connect a Bitcoin wallet
Use a self-custodial wallet such as Xverse, Leather or Unisat. An address from a centralized exchange will not work and can lose the funds.
- 03Set the destination on Solana
Enter the Solana address that should receive the USDC. Bitcoin and Solana use different address formats, so paste carefully; this is the step where mistakes happen.
- 04Send the exact BTC amount
Bitcoin confirmation is the slow part; ~20 min is typical. Send the exact amount shown, or the intent may not match.
- 05Solvers settle it
Once the Bitcoin transaction confirms, the intent is live and solvers compete to fill it. Settlement is terminal — it either completes or fails, never a silent partial fill.
- 06Receive USDC on Solana
Total time is usually ~21 min, dominated by Bitcoin confirmation rather than anything downstream.
The path your funds take
The route is Bitcoin → Sonic hub → Solana. SODAX is hub-and-spoke: Bitcoin and Solana are spokes, Sonic is the hub, and value passes through it rather than through a chain of third-party bridges.
You declare the outcome — the minimum USDC you will accept — and independent solvers compete to fill it. If nobody can meet your terms the intent fails and you keep your BTC. There is no state where the swap half-completes.

Questions
How long does swap btc to usdc take?
Usually ~21 min. Bitcoin finalises in ~20 min and Solana in ~30 s; the intent settles once the source transaction is confirmed.
Do I need an account or KYC?
No. There is no registration, no email and no identity check. You sign from your own wallet and nothing is ever held on your behalf.
What are the fees?
A 0.1% solver fee applies on SODAX routes, and we add no platform fee on top of them. Gas on Bitcoin is paid in BTC and is separate. The comparison shows the amount after everything.
Is there a maximum amount?
Yes — roughly 0.25 BTC per intent before routes stop filling. Split larger swaps.
Do I need gas on Solana?
Not to receive. You pay gas on Bitcoin in BTC. You will need a little SOL on Solana before you can move the USDC onward.
What if it fails?
Settlement is terminal: an intent either solves or fails. On failure the funds stay where they started — there is no partial fill to unwind.
