Every number here, and where it came from.

/ranking

We rank by what lands, not by headline rate

A route is scored on one thing: the amount that ends up in your wallet after bridge fees, swap fees and our platform fee. Not the mid-market rate, not the pre-fee quote. If a route quotes beautifully and then takes 0.4% on the way out, it ranks below one that quoted worse and took nothing.

Gas is shown separately because you pay it in the source chain's native token, not out of the amount being swapped. We tell you which token and roughly how long it takes; we do not fold an estimate of it into the comparison, because doing so would let us move the ranking by changing an assumption.

/fees

What we charge, per route

SODAX routes: 0% platform fee. The protocol's own 0.1% solver fee applies and is already reflected in the quoted amount. We add nothing on top.

Other providers: a 0.5% interface fee, applied only where the provider's API lets us collect it and shown as its own line in the route details. Current status:

SODAX0%by policy
LI.FI0%not collected, so not charged
KyberSwap0.50%collected
Jupiter0%not collected, so not charged

A fee we cannot collect is not charged and not shown; we do not deduct a number from a quote that the provider is not deducting. This table reads from the live configuration, so it is always what the app is doing right now.

Network gas is separate on every route. You pay it in the source chain's native token, and we show which token rather than converting it into the comparison.

/sources

Where the numbers come from

SODAX rows are the raw response from api.sodax.com. LI.FI rows are the raw response from li.quest/v1/quote, including which underlying bridge or DEX they selected. Both are requested server-side at page render and refreshed at least every 60 seconds. USD prices come from the SODAX oracle's USD-quoted candles.

Nothing in the comparison is derived from another row. Each venue is asked the same question — the same pair, the same amount, at the same moment — and answers for itself. A table where competitors' numbers are computed from ours would be incapable of ever showing us losing, which would make it decoration rather than a comparison.

When a venue cannot serve a route it says so explicitly — chain not supported or no route — rather than being hidden. LI.FI does not route Bitcoin, Sui, Stellar, NEAR, Stacks or Hedera, so those pairs show one row and a blank.

Every pair page carries the exact API call behind its number. Open any pair, expand “Reproduce the quote above”, and run it. If our number and the API's number disagree, we have a bug and we want to hear about it.

/limits

Where this router stops working

Intent liquidity is finite and we measured the edge rather than guessing it. On stablecoin corridors the all-in cost is lowest between roughly $100 and $1,000, climbs past $5,000, and above about $30,000 the API returns no route at all. Bitcoin routes fill up to roughly 0.25 BTC.

When a size stops being well served here, the comparison puts another route first and the swap card says so. A router that never admits a limit is a router that will happily quote you something it cannot fill.

/conflicts

Our conflict of interest, stated

We earn more when you route through a third-party venue than through SODAX, because SODAX routes carry no platform fee. That is the opposite of the usual incentive and we are telling you because you should be able to check our ranking against our incentives.

The ranking is by received amount only. It is not weighted, and SODAX is not pinned to the top. When another venue returns more, it is listed first and marked best.
